One of the highlights of this year has been the successful execution of the Bamboo Artisans
Training Program in Mon District, Nagaland. This initiative was carried out across three villages,
namely:
- Lampong
- Totok
- Longwa
Program Overview
- Duration: 3 Months
- Focus: Skill development in bamboo craftsmanship, product innovation, and quality
improvement - Participants: A total of 120 artisans participated in this program
The training sessions were designed to equip artisans with both traditional and modern
techniques in bamboo crafting. Artisans received hands-on training in creating functional and
decorative bamboo products, improving their market readiness and product appeal.
